Archetypally Speaking Show Closing Reception

Many interested artful individuals brought in work made for this show, or made in the past. Themes of acceptance, overwhelm, protection, peace, joining, being, breaking, and seeing are woven throughout this cohesive show. Alumni, faculty, students, staff, and relations contributed to this show. We will be having a closing reception on 8/1/2014 from 5-7. Please join the artists in conversation about the archetypes that have shown up, and what messages they have offered.

The Psychopharmacology of Drug Abuse

LAD 5100 This course is designed to equip students with an overview of the biological basis of addiction. Topics will include drug classes, drug history, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, basic neurochemistry. The biological, social and spiritual dynamics of pleasure and reinforcement will also be explored. Pharmacotherapies will also be covered, providing students with an overview of medications that are used to treat addiction.
