Yolanda Padilla has many years of experience working with diverse populations in the state of New Mexico. Yolanda obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Clinical Social Work in 2003 and her Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Social Work in 2006. She also carries an Associate of Arts Degree in Human Services. She has experience with clinical supervision and management and has practiced therapy with individuals and families in the home, community, and out-patient settings.
Yolanda has advanced training in adolescent substance abuse, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Sandplay Therapy, Child and Adolescent Problem Sexual Behavior, Trauma, and Covid-19 Disaster Work. She has treated a variety of mental health disorders such as PTSD, Mood Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
“When our mind, our body, and our spirit are disconnected it can prevent us from working towards our true potential”. As a therapist, Yolanda believes that humans are “Free Spirits”. She uses many techniques and modalities to help people explore, process, and develop skills so that the mind, body, and spirit can align.
