Talya Steinberg, Psy.D

Talya Steinberg is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. She received her doctorate from Pacific University of Professional Psychology in Hillsboro, Oregon. She has sought both conventional and less conventional learning experiences to enrich her understanding of the life experience. Her orientation is largely experiential and person-centered, and she enjoys the art of therapy as more than just a job. After working as the mental health director at a juvenile correctional facility in rural Maine she decided to move into private practice in Santa Fe. As a generalist she sees clients of all ages and administers clinical assessments. She has always found particular meaning in the creative process and wrote both her thesis and dissertation on the subject of group creativity. Talya has two young children and enjoys dancing with a local company.
