As a counselor I practice from a holistic approach that is rooted in humanistic and existential psychology. The therapeutic modalities I practice include: client centered therapy, motivational therapy, existential therapy, psychodrama, empty chair work, guided mindfulness, sand tray therapy, and somatic therapy. I’m deeply passionate about mental health and have dedicated much of my life to learning, practicing, and studying psychology and counseling. I hold a safe, supportive, empowering, non-judgmental, accepting, and respectful space for clients from all cultures, walks of life, age ranges, and sexual as well as gender identities. I believe in the healing and transformational process of therapy that helps lead a person to wholeness and finding their authentic self.
Issues I specialize in include: anxiety, spiritual and religious abuse, spiritual and religious issues, relationship issues, intimacy issues, sexuality issues, love addiction, codependency, existential issues, parentification, emotional incest, emotional abuse, family of origin issues, pet grief and loss, self esteem issues, and LGBT issues.
