- Cost of Attendance
As a private institution, SWC does not differentiate between “in-state” and “out-of-state” tuition costs. Total tuition will vary each quarter depending on the number of quarter units taken. Included below are the costs for each of our degree programs. The majority of SWC students receive some form of federal aid via the Federal Student Loan programs to help cover tuition and required fees (direct costs) and/or living expenses (indirect costs), for room and board, books & supplies, transportation and personal expenses. The information included for each program (see links below) covers both direct and indirect costs for the 2023-24 academic year. Please note: tuition and fees are subject to change in subsequent years.
Based upon official FAFSA application and results, graduates may be able to borrow up to $20,500 a year in Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans. To apply: https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
The Federal School Code (FAFSA School code) for SWC is: 030761
Based upon a student’s credit, there may also be the option to borrow additional federal student loan funds via Federal Grad PLUS loan program. The Federal Grad PLUS requires a student to submit the current year FAFSA and also the Grad PLUS Loan application, located at: https://studentaid.gov/plus-app/grad/landing
