Micaela Wood, MA, LPCC, ATR-BC

Micaela Wood, MA, LPCC, ATR-BC, graduated from Southwestern College in 2018 with her MA Art Therapy and Counseling degree. She is now a licensed therapist in Denver, Colorado specializing in serving adolescents and young adults belonging to the LGBTQIA+ community. Trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, codependency, and attachment are her main areas of focus in treatment. She has had the privilege of working with this population in agency, shelter, and private practice settings. Micaela has a passion for teaching and deeply enjoys holding space for the transformative, experiential process of learning and growth. She has written and published two mental health workbooks and enjoys meditation. She is also a ceramic artist, as well as a pet mom to a cat and all her reptiles.
