Lorraine R. Freedle, Ph.D., ABPdN, CST-T is a Board Certified pediatric neuropsychologist, psychotherapist, trainer in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics NMT®, and teaching member of Sandplay Therapists of America (STA) and the International Society of Sandplay Therapy (ISST). Dr. Freedle is an award-winning researcher for her studies of Sandplay Therapy with traumatized youth as well as adults with traumatic brain injury. She is an international presenter who illuminates current theory, neuroscience and the principles of depth psychology with compelling case studies.
Dr. Freedle is the Clinical Director of Pacific Quest, an intensive, outdoor behavioral health program for youth on the Big Island of Hawai`i with a focus on holistic healing. Her private practice is Black Sand Neuropsychological Services, Inc. in Hilo, Hawai`i. She has published numerous professional journal articles and currently serves as Research Editor for the Journal of Sandplay Therapy.
