Kam Monroe, MA, LPCC, Enrollment Services Coordinator

Kam Monroe is the Enrollment Services Coordinator at Southwestern College. They have a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Ohio University, a Masters in Art Therapy/Counseling from Southwestern College, hold a Sex Therapy Certification from Antioch University, and is licensed as an LPCC in New Mexico. 

Kam has worked as a therapist in many different settings and cities. They have worked in schools both in Santa Fe and Chicago as well as treatment foster care, community mental health agencies, and group practices. 

They have been practicing as a counselor and relationship coach for several years. Their method of practice includes elements of art therapy, sex therapy, narrative therapy, and EMDR. They primarily work with neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ clients, as well as those in alternative relationship structures.

Kam is excited to help current and future students explore the multitude of options for careers and pathways through Southwestern College and The New Earth Institute.
