Jenn Gutiérrez B.S, M.F.A, Ph.D

Jenn Gutiérrez has been an educator for the last 25 years. She’s taught grades 4th – 10th, college undergrad and grad. As the Albuquerque Teacher Residency Partnership Student Teaching Instructor and Field Supervisor, she worked closely with cooperating teachers to support them (and the student teacher residents placed with them) on their journey through the year-long experience.  

Dr. Gutiérrez holds a Bachelors of Science degree in English (minor in philosophy), a Master of Fine Arts degree in English and Writing (emphasis in poetry), and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Curriculum & Instruction.   

In her spare time, Dr. Gutiérrez enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is also an avid horse-lover and routinely volunteers for a therapeutic horsemanship non-profit.
