New Earth Institute Certificate Programs

Overview and Application Process

The New Earth Institute of Southwestern College offers Certificate Programs to expand your scope of professional expertise and enhance your marketability as a Counselor or Art Therapist/Counselor.

The programs consist of a series of intensive offerings in clinically relevant areas of professional practice, including:

The Certificate Programs are open to people with an undergraduate or graduate degree. Many of our current M.A. degree students take coursework from our certificate programs to create specialty area(s) in their studies. Much of the coursework in the Certificate Programs is offered in weekend seminars/trainings and may earn CECs or 2 graduate credits.

Application Process

If you wish to enroll in one or more Certificate Program(s), please complete the Certificate Program Application online. There is no fee to apply.

If you wish to register for a single class for degree credit, for continuing education or personal development, it is not necessary to fill out the application.

After you’ve completed all the required certificate coursework and have applied to the program, you will complete the NEI Assessment online (link sent by email) and then receive your certificate.
