Alumni Updates – 1993 Graduates

Jocelyn Elder is a nurse, psychotherapist, and cancer survivor. She has written a book called The Wheel of Cancer. She is mentoring a 15 year old from Monte Sol Charter School who wants to learn about becoming a therapist for 2 hours a week for 6 months. She also has a private practice.

Ulla Pederson is the founder of Kindred Spirits Sanctuary, which is dedicated to providing compassionate care of older animals, primarily dogs, horses and poultry, most of whom have been abused, neglected and abandoned. All the animals get to live out their lives with supportive, palliative care.

Sandy Poling works in Placitas as a realtor with La Puerta Real Estate Services. All three of her daughters are great. Sandy recently earned an e-Pro certification from the National Association of Realtors.
