Nina Feliz Gonzales is a native New Mexican, born and raised in Santa Fe, bilingual (Spanish/English) and is passionate about leveraging education as a primary pathway to cultivating whole and happy human beings. She has spent the last 25 years designing and implementing experiential education, adolescent recovery, wilderness therapy, workforce development, and community programs. She holds a self-designed BA in Environmental Psychology and a MA in Educational Policy, Foundations, and Administration. She assisted in the founding of the Leadership in Ecology, Culture, and Learning graduate program at Portland State University and went on to work overseas in Central America and East Africa. She returned home to serve the Director of Student Support Services at the University of New Mexico-Taos, where she implemented a multi-layered network of services and support systems to ensure student success. She founded TaosHIVE, a thrice nationally recognized program for innovation in education and training, and the Aligned Regional Consortium for Literacy, which works with programs across the state to redefine literacy practices in the modern era. She is also a co-founder of Social Emotional Learning Alliance for New Mexico (SEL4NM) and of the SEL Community Catalyst Project. Most recently she launched Eradawn LLC, working as a leadership and organizational development consultant. She centers her work on cultivating self-awareness, building strong and healthy relationships, and contributing to a creative and visionary future where all humans can thrive.
