Randy Crutcher, EdD, is a lifelong learner, teacher, trainer, counselor, coach, and author. He worked as faculty in Psychology and Sociology and as a counseling center staff member in the California Community College system and was Freshman Success Coordinator and faculty at California State University Humboldt (HSU) in Psychology, Sociology and Leaderships studies. He was an active member of the Diversity Committee on that campus. Later he was a trainer and staff consultant for the California Conservation Corps, a service learning program for young adults with diverse backgrounds. He has and does organize men’s support groups, gatherings, retreats and vision quests. He pioneered one of the first men’s wellness centers and group treatment programs for men who batter. His co-authored book, The Passion Principle, released in 2019, is a positive psychology approach to infusing passion and purpose into one’s life and provides tools for counseling and coaching practitioners. He is also the co-creator of the Divine Dog and Cosmic Cat Wisdom Cards and Guidebooks, a colorful pet-centered approach to divining one’s own wisdom in life.
