Dr. Griffin has worked in the counseling field for over twenty years.
Following the acquisition of her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Antioch New England in 1995, her career began in the rural areas around Brattleboro, Vermont. After five years there, she returned to Northern New Mexico to work in the multi-cultural villages and towns along the Rio Grande corridor. This career included work in Community Mental Health, Substance Abuse Treatment, and Juvenile Drug Court.
In 2012, Jill received her Ph.D. from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Mythological Studies with Emphasis in Depth Psychology. Dr. Griffin’s focus evolved into working with teen girls through Girl’s Circles and adventure based programming in collaboration with the Santa Fe Mountain Center. She currently teaches and has a small business focusing on creating leadership opportunities for women and girls.
