Don’t these faces say it all!
Well I will get around to having my face in there too…but I wanted the pups to get a little press time all by themselves! The husky mix is called “Kioko” – it means “born with happiness” in Japanese and the brown one is “Suki” – also Japanese. They were both named at the shelter where I adopted them. Kioko is a bit skittish and Suki acts a bit like a princess. I remember the first time Suki met Jim Nolan, former SWC president. She hopped up on a chair with her paws on the back of the seat and barked in his face. Eeek. How is that for a first impression! I wondered what she said to him?
Anyway, these two are the best! They definitely make me – Dru Phoenix – a better person all around!
About the Moderator
Dru is a graduate of the SWC MA in Art Therapy/Counseling program. In her spare time, she serves as the Director of Enrollment Services at SWC and has a private practice. She is the proud guardian of two pups – Kioko and Suki and is a huge animal lover!
