The summer comes alive with stage productions including events from the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival and the world-famous Santa Fe Opera.

Throughout the year, residents enjoy numerous festivals and dances at nearby Pueblos. Spanish and Indian Markets take place at or near the Plaza. For those who want a taste of the West, the rodeo comes to town in June.

Outdoor life can be lived to the fullest in northern New Mexico. Horseback riding, skiing, golfing, fishing and boating are all within a close distance. Bicycling, bird watching, hiking and rafting are also popular activities. Santa Fe, a rich tri-cultural area, provides plenty of opportunities for leisure and recreation. Students can pursue their academic goals while enjoying all that northern New Mexico has to offer.
