Quimby Scholarship Program

The Quimby Scholarship Program is available to entering or current students in financial need. We especially encourage those new to Southwestern College to apply for these scholarships.

Amount
The awards are from $3,000 to $6,000 for each applicant chosen. Each scholarship awarded will be applied toward tuition in three equal installments during the course of the year of the award.

Criteria
Applicants must have confirmation of acceptance and intend to attend or continue their education at Southwestern College and a completed FAFSA application. The applicant must demonstrate a commitment to the Southwestern community and have financial need.

Selection Process
TAP Resources Committee will review each application prior to awarding the scholarships. Consideration will be given to financial need, quality of the application and the student’s commitment to community at Southwestern College. The Financial Aid Office will notify each applicant, the Financial Manager and the Registrar.

Applications are considered on a rolling basis.
