Diversity Scholarship

Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Resources

Southwestern College is committed to sustaining a diverse student body. The Diversity Scholars Program offers funding to entering or current students who identified themselves as being in a minority group. If you are interested in this program, please read the information below.

Amount
The awards are from $3,000 to $6,000 for each applicant chosen. Each scholarship awarded will be applied toward tuition in three equal installments during the course of the year of the award.

Criteria
Applicants must have confirmation of acceptance and intend to attend or continue their education at Southwestern College and a completed FAFSA application. We honor a broad range of diversity reflected in race, ethnicity, gender, religion and more.

Selection Process
TAP Resources Committee will review each application prior to awarding the scholarships. Consideration will be given to financial need, quality of the application and the student’s commitment to community at Southwestern College. The Financial Aid Office will notify each applicant, the Financial Manager and the Registrar.

Winter 2013 is closed.
