TGR 5200 in the Trauma, Grief and Renewal Certificate program.  Class runs Friday, 9/26, 5:30-9pm; Sat. & Sunday, 9/27 & 9/28, 9:30am-6pm. Topics covered include the natural process of dying, hospice and palliative care, the exploration of the nature and impact of different types of death, issues for survivors, funeral practices and transition rituals in a cross-cultural context. email registrar@swc.edu to register

Janet Schreiber, Ph.D., is the founder and director of  SWC’s Trauma, Grief and Renewal Certificate Program. She has taught and trained counselors and other health professionals for over 35 years. She directs the Caring Can Be Shared outreach program, facilitates an ongoing Survivors of Suicide group, and is the founder of Santa Fe Doorways, a coalition to improve end of life care.
