Scene Change: Shadow Boxes

Scene Change: Shadow Boxes

This is another assignment for my History of Art Therapy: Current Trends class. Students were asked to bring in to class a medium sized box, recycled materials, and an idea about a scene they would like to change: Personal, Professional, or Global.  This was inspired by a project done with Veterans at Montrose VA Hospital (check out the video: http://peekskill.patch.com/articles/video-veterans-look-back-to-move-foward#video-8405594), as well as various recycling art projects such as Recreate, a recycling exhibit at Oakland’s Museum of Children’s Art.
