The students seemed to enjoy the process of recreating the shoes that they brought in to class. Some brought old shoes, uncomfortable shoes, shoes with a history, ones that will be worn again, and new shoes bought for the project. Thoughts were discussed afterwards about how this could be used with clients, and what meanings can be conveyed and articulated through cutting up, covering over, or adding to shoes that may have a personal history.
