of Southwestern College and the community’s commitment
to our mission: to
promote lifelong learning through innovative educational programs
that incorporate academic and experiential learning; to provide
graduate-level degree programs that prepare students to become
helping professionals; and
to provide professional development and personal growth opportunities
through non-degree programs and community services.

From Jim Nolan, President of Southwestern College:
This
year we have several fundraising goals. We hope to strengthen
the Building Fund for the Future while developing a master plan
for campus expansion
to handle future enrollment growth. We have selected Wayne Lloyd,
a local architect who is recognized for his dedication to sustainable
building and his use of non-toxic and recycled building materials.
We
hope to increase support for the Southwestern Counseling Center
as we maintain an expanded facility at our current site on St.
Michael's Drive in order to provide counseling, art therapy
and grief and loss assistance for low-income Santa Fe residents.
Finally,
we hope to increase scholarship aid to students seeking a degree
at Southwestern College. Read more
on why Southwestern College needs your support.
