Counseling Center

The Southwestern Counseling Center provides affordable counseling and art therapy to residents of northern New Mexico. Services are provided by practicum students and interns who are supervised by college faculty during Year Two of their M.A. program in counseling or art therapy.

Services offered at the Southwestern Counseling Center are based on a transformational view of human development. Practitioners utilize a holistic framework which includes psychotherapeutic approaches that address the emotional, mental, multicultural and spiritual aspects of each client. Southwestern College counseling and art therapy students assist clients in making positive life changes. The Center provides assistance for adults, children, couples, families and groups and is conveniently located in the heart of the Santa Fe community.
